CULTIVATION TECHNICIAN

Job Description:

Cultivation Technician applicants will be trained to have a general working knowledge of all practical aspects of the cannabis growing process including but not limited to the following: plant propagation(cloning), transplanting, plant pruning, pest identification, pesticide application, nutrient mixing and application, foliar feeding, sanitary best practices, harvesting and curing, and general plant health knowledge. This individual will also be well versed in compliance, safety and security best practices both with respect to the states requirements and in-house guidelines and standards.


Experience:

  • Candidates must be 21 years old and be able to pass a criminal background check (cannabis-only criminal backgrounds are ok).

  • Cannabis cultivation experience preferred, but training will be available.


Description of work:

  • Transplanting of plants at various stages of growth.

  • Pruning and stripping of plants at various stages of growth.

  • Moving plants through grow facility as needed.

  • Watering and nutrient application as needed.

  • Working with compliance division to keep facility in compliance with state laws.

  • Cleaning and sanitization of grow environment and equipment.

  • Working closely with other Grow Technicians to complete grow tasks as set forth by Head Grower, Pest Management Division and Compliance Division.

  • Working with management and supervisors to ensure an efficient, high quality and enjoyable operation. Scope of work is not limited to this description.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Excellent computer, arithmetic, language, and reasoning skills.

  • Knowledge and familiarity with Cannabis.

  • Works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity.

  • 21 years of age or older

  • Demonstrated passion for serving the medical cannabis community.

  • Ability to work within a team and without.

  • Must be able to pass a background check.

  • Must not have been convicted of any felony offense.

  • Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment.

  • Organization and planning skills

  • Ability to build relationships

  • Ability to lift 60lbs.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
