CULTIVATION COMPLIANCE MANAGER
The Cultivation Compliance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of compliance as it relates to state law and internal practices within the context of the grow facility. Candidate will have a strong working knowledge of existing state laws as they relate to the cultivation of cannabis. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date records in the compliance system of all aspects of cultivation from seed-to-harvest, including: monitoring the addition and subtraction of plants to the facility, tracking plants through various stages of growth, ensuring all plants are physically tagged with appropriate barcodes, making sure waste is monitored, weighed and tagged for destruction, making sure all harvests are in compliance, making sure post-harvest inventory practices are accurate and in compliance. In addition the Cultivation Compliance Manager will make sure all individuals within the cultivation facility follow proper rules and protocols as it relates to both compliance and security.
Candidates must be 21 years old and be able to pass a criminal background check (cannabis-only criminal backgrounds are ok).
Description of work:
Data entry and tracking of plants in the compliance system.
Supervising employees and making sure facility practices are in compliance with state laws.
Developing and implementing compliance protocols and standard operating procedures for employees.
Developing and implementing security protocols and best practices for employees.
Auditing plant waste and inventory to make sure compliance system is accurate.
Updating company policy as needed and as state law and compliance requirements change.
Working with management and supervisors to ensure an efficient, high quality and enjoyable operation. Scope of work is not limited to this description.
Excellent computer, arithmetic, language, and reasoning skills.
Knowledge and familiarity with cannabis.
Works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity.
21 years of age or older
Ability to work within a team and without.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must not have been convicted of any felony offense.
Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment.
