HEAD GROWER

Job Description:

The ideal candidate for our Head Grower position will be capable of overseeing all aspects of the growing process from cloning through curing and has both practical cannabis cultivation experience and a strong theoretical understanding of plant physiology, nutrient regimens, cloning and propagation, greenhouse environmental control, as well as cannabis harvesting and curing knowledge.

Experience:

• Candidates must be 21 years old and be able to pass a criminal background check (cannabis-only criminal backgrounds are ok).

• Management experience

• Cannabis Cultivation Experience

Description of work:

• Designing nutrient regimens and delivery techniques to maximize plant health and yield.

• Scheduling and planning grow cycles for continuous harvesting and meeting deadlines for these cycles.

• Oversee and manage Grow Technicians and verify proper protocols are followed for:

  • Cloning

  • Transplanting

  • Nutrient application

  • Pruning

  • Harvest

  • Curing

• Optimizing grow variables to produce high quality cannabis with respect to:

  • Yield

  • Total cannabinoids

  • Unique terpene profiles

• Working with management and supervisors to ensure an efficient, high quality and enjoyable operation

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Excellent computer, arithmetic, language, and reasoning skills

• Knowledge and familiarity with Cannabis

• Works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity

• 21 years of age or older

• Ability to work within a team and without

• Must be able to pass a background check

• Must not have been convicted of any felony offense

• Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment

• Organization and planning skills
